It combines hundreds of years of history hidden behind the façade of Threadneedle Street. You can look up and see Tower 42 in the middle of the ancient medieval courtyard covered in stunning wisteria flowers. The service is second to none. You are made to feel welcome, special and individual. The food is sublime. Given that the food comes out of the oldest working kitchen in London, extant since at least the 15th century, you would never know that this isn’t an ultra modern catering facility.
Nestled in the heart of the City, the unique atmosphere of this historical building is complemented by an exceptional events team. The Merchant Taylors' Hall event spaces include a magnificent Great Hall, an elegant Drawing Room and a pretty Courtyard Garden. Whether you're hosting an awards ceremony, private dinner, conference, or wedding, there are nine stunning spaces to choose from. The Great Hall dates back to the 14th century and can cater for up to 700 guests for a reception or 280 for a seated gala dinner.
