The Dry Berth is the most modern space at the historic Cutty Sark venue. It was built underneath the boat when the site was redeveloped in 2007. The 963-ton ship is suspended three metres above the floor by twelve cantilevered arms and covered by a geodesic glass canopy. By day the area is flooded with natural light, and by night, built-in lighting reflects off the metal hull to create an atmospheric glow.
