Designed by John Chichester Ellis and completed in 1838, what is now known as the Ballroom was originally intended as a picture gallery and works perfectly as a gala dinner venue. Executed in the French Revival style of Louis XV, with a charming minstrels’ gallery to one end, this grand space is hung with portraits of the Richmond family, their relatives and royalty and has genuine wow factor.
