It was here in 1966 that American director John Huston shot a number of scenes for his epic film The Bible: In the Beginning, starring Ava Gardner, Peter O’Toole and Franco Nero. Due to the distinct lack of light pollution in the area, Su Gologone is popular with stargazers. One night a week, between May and September, local amateur astronomers study the stars and planets using telescopes and instruments. The Terrace of Dreams, or ‘Terrazzo Dei Sogni’ in Italian, is a great location for a reception, private dinner or private meeting. It is a truly magnificent outdoor events space.
